Life has it's moments and within those moments it seems like God is far from us. However that is not true. That is our fear, worry, concern and simply feelings of being helpless that overcome us.

When trying times come, even persecutions, or just those seasons when everything seems to be going wrong. God is aware, He is with us, and He is for us. It is us, that distances ourselves from God by becoming focused on situations, and distracted from God. We stop praying, we stop trusting, our faith becomes attacked, and the storm seems to overtake us. Yet there is a eye in the storms of our lives, a place of peace, and a place where we can meditate on Him, and His goodness.
