Just imagine the days following Pentecost. Yes, that word that has been labled Christmatic. Seems that some just favor John the Baptist's day. Man that was a great revival, however that revival only prepared the way of the Lord, and then came Jesus, the Christ. After Christ was crucified, died, and rose from the grave, he gave the Apostles further instuctions and the outpouring of the Holy Ghost came. Just imagine those crazy Apostles being empowered to do greater works. Just imagine the miracles, healings, salvations and all that took place.
Today the church is talkinmg Revival and waiting for another great outpouring. Interesting, and definately something to look forward to and keep coming back for. Truth is, revival has already come. It came with John the Baptist, it came with Jesus and it came on the day of Pentecost. Revival is here, and it's been here for over 2,000 years.
Maybe the problem is that there are no true Apostles? Maybe the problem is that the church is not truly empowered by the Holy Ghost? maybe the problem is that we are always waiting and looking for something rather than walking in the very Kingdom of God here on earth? Food for thought. Well now for another great sermon on how to .... walk in the spirit and do greater works.
May the church rise up!
